{"id":194,"date":"2014-05-29T07:27:15","date_gmt":"2014-05-29T11:27:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/abfifer.com\/blog\/?p=194"},"modified":"2021-04-19T16:01:07","modified_gmt":"2021-04-19T20:01:07","slug":"four-words-that-are-better-than-three","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abfifer.com\/blog\/2014\/05\/four-words-that-are-better-than-three\/","title":{"rendered":"Four Words That Are Better Than Three"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cI love you.\u201d The three little words that everyone wants to hear, that we don\u2019t say often enough, that comprise one of the most powerful things we can say to someone.<\/p>\n<p>But it occurs to me there\u2019s an even more powerful, meaningful sentence: \u201cI still love you.\u201d These four words connote a lot that may be missing from a simple \u201cI love you.\u201d The three-word sentence could be spoken out of infatuation, excitement, even hopefulness.<\/p>\n<p>But the four-word version says a lot more: it implies full knowledge, forgiveness, commitment.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the message of God to us, over and over in the Bible. And it\u2019s one of the most moving things we can hear from\u2014or say to&#8211;another person.<\/p>\n<p>Today is my 19<sup>th<\/sup> wedding anniversary.
