The man, an aboriginal in Australia, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.co.uk\/entry\/racist-conversation-in-australian-cafe-prompts-man-to-buy-women-a-cup-of-tea_uk_57d66b17e4b0ac5a02de9744\">had a pot of tea delivered<\/a> to the ladies\u2019 table, along with a note on the receipt that the tea was \u201ccompliments of the two aboriginals sitting at the next table.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m reminded of Jesus\u2019 command to love your enemies, and of Paul\u2019s admonition (Romans 12:17, 21) not to repay evil with evil, but to overcome evil with good. As the young man commented on his Facebook post, \u201cI could\u2019ve unleashed a tirade of abuse, but that wouldn\u2019t have helped.\u201d Instead, he was inspired to be\u00a0a peacemaker.<\/p>\n<p>Would that we all could do the same!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A man who overheard women in the next booth talking pejoratively about members of his race decided to fight back \u2013 with kindness.
